So, I met Ron Paul last nite and I have to say he made me want to have hope. I intend to meet as many of the candidates as I possibly can and tell ppl as much about them as I possibly can in here. He said alot of things that made me want to have hope for our country. The paramount being that he has no special interest groups supporting him. Just ppl making donations. He talked about the constitution and his want to restore us to it. He talked about the Federal Reserve and the IRS and his want to do away with them. He talked about revenue and how to achieve it. It made sense. When I finally did meet him up close and personally I had two questions I wanted to ask and I really only had time to ask one. I asked him why he voted 'no' to impeach cheney on the house floor. He said that he wanted to follow proper procedure and make sure it was fully investigated. I understand that even though I am still impatient to see our country right again. There is an order to things and protocal. If I want to affect change I must affect it from within the system. I imagine that's what Ron Paul is trying to do.My second question was...what are the chances that we have of seeing any of the things he spoke about happening? I didnt' get to ask that question. I'm going to assume that actions will speak louder than words should he become our new president.
