Sometime about this time last year I found a story from Pravda. Apparently some of the Russian peacekeepers (sounds a lot like Blackwater to me) were thrown out of some public place for harassing the customers (to the best of my recollection). The next thing I read from the same source was that Georgia had declared all Russians spies and then they declared sanctions against Russian imports of any kind.
I had a lengthy discussion about this with a fellow chatter in my chat room. They and America don't need imports. As a matter of fact none of us really do need to import or export anything. We have enough to support our own wherever we are, citizens of any nation.
For instance...America supplies the world with one third of the oil the world uses via export. We should keep it for ourselves and let them keep theirs.
So the next thing I read from Pravda is that Russia launched a dummie missile into Georgia as sort of a 'warning'. The poor old guy whose backyard garden it landed in will be going without from his garden I gather because to my knowledge that dummie missile is still lodged in his garden in his backyard and scaring the bejesus out of anyone who cares to look.
Now I find out that Georgia was the third largest supplier of troops to the Iraq debacle. I might add that this was all a part of Georgia's plan to get into NATO.
It's sad to me that this administration is so corrupt that we can do absolutely NOTHING to support one of our strongest allies.
Georgia is returning its troops from Iraq now so they can help to fight off the Russian invaders and keep Russia from taking over Georgia.
Russia had declared that it wants a regime change in Georgia (who the hell is Russia to tell Georgia what to do?)at which point there is a real war over the freedom to declare what and who you are in a foriegn country in real need and we in American can do NOTHING.
