Welcome to the Parade

What do they call this? Oh yeah fibbertygitz...I got up at 4 am I got ready and I got the truck with the trailer to drive in the parade...I don't get up at 4 am for anyone...I want to say I did this for America...truth is I did it for myself because I'm part of America...the night before I attended a debate party and that was good too...I had net so I could watch with my fellow chatters...I have to say that most of us were disappointed with the debate because McCain really is a boring tempermental dinosaur...Anyway...so all of us gathered at the truck heretofore to be known as the float...all dressed up in Obama gear and ready to chant...and chant we did...the entire parade route we'd yell "FIRED UP" and the crowd on the sidelines would respond "READY TO GO"... I have to admit to almost running over a couple of people at the end of the route because I was on the phone with one of the parade officials (the guy that loaned me the float) and he told me to move because I was blocking traffic and there was a sign behind the back window so I couldn't see behind me and well...I almost ran over a politician cause I panicked when I was told I was holding up the show...there's one woman who's running for office locally and I want to deck her...her favorite thing it seems to be is to get in the way of everyone else and especially where I'm concerned...yeah I know...I blocked the preapproved electorate slate and they do what the party leaders tell them too...just because they say it doesn't make it so or legal...she's holding a serious grudge...one more obstacle and she's going to be holding a crutch...otherwise everything went wonderfully...I have no idea how I wound up driving the float or even being in the parade and my co pilot was really thrilled to be my co pilot...I suggested him because he wanted to march in the parade too but he'd just had knee surgery and really couldn't march...we handed out about 40 T-shirts all the leftover flyers we had...yard signs and committment cards and once I got to the Harvest Festival booth we registered over 100 voters in the first 3 hours and got over 200 committment cards signed...gave out buttons more yard signs and literature...I saw some of my old clients and might even have a line on renting a station at American Beauty that's been renamed to something else I imagine...or not...I don't know...nah...I'll just buy my own property and work out of my own shop...I hate working for other people or renting from other people...I think I'm spoiled now...and eccentric...I'm a hairdresser that's a technophile with a radio show that I can't afford to pay for this month waiting for my court ordered roll over that's almost 3 weeks late now...ok...I'm a little stressed out too...I can't wait for the Biden Palin debate...that should be hilarious...if Palin doesn't bail on it...Time to pass out again...I have more canvassing to do tomorrow...I can't wait to sleep for 3 days straight...
